Humboldt, IA – No injuries reported after a pickup truck is struck by a passenger car Friday night.
Officer Colton Monson of the Humboldt Police Department reports on the two car incident. His report states that on Friday, July 17, that Brandon Cressler, 31, of Humboldt, was southbound on 5th Street South slowing to back into his driveway. At the same time Howard Nelson, 84, of Humboldt was approaching, coming from the same direction. As Cressler began to turn towards his drive way his white Chevrolet K1500 was stuck on the driver’s side door by the front of Nelson’s gray Ford Flex.
The incident resulted in minor damages to both vehicles that were both driven away from the scene. No injuries were reported by Officer Monson as a result of the incident.
