Beaver Township, IA – No injuries reported after a deer disables a vehicle Sunday night.
Deputy Ryan Stein of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office reports on the single car and deer incident. His report states that on Sunday, Aug. 9, Robin Wolterman-Olson, 46, of Thor, was westbound on 250th Street near Pine Avenue in Beaver Township. As she drove along a deer ran out on to the roadway. Wolterman-Olson was unable to avoid the animal and struck it with her Jeep Commander.
The incident resulted in disabling damages to the Commander that was towed away from the scene. No injuries were reported by Deputy Stein at the time of the incident.
