Dakota City, IA – No injuries reported after a sedan goes through a ditch and strikes a utility pole.
Deputy Michael Vinsand of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office reports on the single car incident. His report states that on Wednesday, Aug. 26, Koby Becker, 22, of Humboldt was eastbound on 1st Avenue North in Dakota City when he failed to negotiate the curve at the intersection with Nevada Avenue. The action resulted in Becker’s silver Toyota Camry go through the ditch, striking a utility pole before coming to a rest on Nevada Avenue.
The incident resulted in functional damage to the Camry that was towed away from the scene. No injuries were reported by Deputy Vinsand as a result of the incident.
