Beaver Township, IA – Possible serious injury suspected after a minor rolls a utility terrain vehicle Saturday morning.
Deputy Tim Fisher of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office reports on the incident. His report states that on Saturday, Sept. 19, a minor from Humboldt was west bound on 230th street driving a Honda MUV700 UTV and was looking to turn right on Penn Avenue. The minor failed to negotiate the turn and entered the ditch on the northwest corner of the intersection. The vehicle rolled once and was driven away from the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement.
The report states that the minor was transported to Humboldt County Memorial Hospital by a private party and later transported to Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines for further treatment.
