Humboldt, IA – The Food Bank of Iowa is holding another mobile food pantry in Humboldt to provide to the community.
The mobile food pantry happens once every other month in Humboldt at the County Fair Grounds. During the event member of the community will be able to drive up and pick up a box of food and other necessities for themselves and their families. The food bank is also looking for volunteers to help box up the food.
Volunteers will be asked to meet at the Humboldt County Fair Grounds at 1 pm. Once there they will help to package and pass out the boxes of food. The food pantry will once again be doing the drive up style of pick up and can begin lining up at 4:30 pm. They have about 280 boxes to package and distribute and will be there until about 6 pm or until all the boxes are gone.
The Food Bank of Iowa Mobile Food Pantry in Humboldt County will be happening Wednesday, Sept. 9. Those wishing to volunteer can contract Diane at (515)890-0484.
