Dakota City, IA – No injuries reported after a deer and SUV collide Friday evening along Nevada Avenue.
Deputy Matt Steil of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office reports on the animal involved incident. His report states that on Friday, Oct 30, Debra Almond, 56, of Thor was southbound on Nevada Ave when a deer ran out into the road way. Almond’s silver Ford Expedition made contact with the animal with the passenger’s side front.
The incident resulted in functional damage to the Expedition that was driven away from the scene. No injuries were reported by Deputy Steil at the time of the incident.
