Humboldt Hy-Vee honors veterans, active-duty military, with breakfast, fundraiser

Humboldt, IA – Hy-Vee in Humboldt is offering free breakfast for veterans and active-duty military this week in honor of Veterans Day.

On Wednesday, November 11th, there will be a contactless drive-thru in the store parking lot. Veterans will also receive 10% off their grocery total when they shop in-store on Wednesday, with some exclusions. Humboldt is one of 250 stores participating in the event and Hy-Vee expects to serve more than 90,000 meals total.

Hy-Vee also announced in a press release that Homefront Round Up is active once again. The annual fundraiser is in its eighth year and benefits Hope for the Warriors, Operation First Response, Puppy Jake Foundation, and the American Red Cross.

Hy-Vee invites customers to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar through November 15th. Donations are welcomed in-store or online at hy-vee.com; Hy-Vee will match all donations up to $100,000.
