16 new COVID-19 cases, 10 additional deaths, confirmed in Humboldt County

Humboldt, IA – Humboldt County Memorial Hospital is reporting a total of 863 COVID-19 cases in Humboldt County as of Dec. 14, 2020.

The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) and Humboldt County Public Health have identified 16 additional cases of COVID-19 in the county. The county’s total case count has now risen to 863 total positives.

  • 4 (18-40)
  • 6 (41-60)
  • 4 (61-80)

They are also saddened to report 10 additional deaths associated with COVID-19 in the county. While this is a significant jump from what was last shared, the IDPH made a few changes to their reporting structure. As of today, this number is accurate for Humboldt County. Please note that not all these deaths occurred from the last report dated 12-9-2020.

“We extend our sincere condolences to these individual’s loved ones,” said Humboldt County Public Health Director Joleen Sernett.

At this time there have been 784 cases listed as recoveries with 16 deaths are reported by Humboldt County Public Health. Humboldt county’s active positive case count is 79.
