54 active COVID-19 cases confirmed during weekly Humboldt County update

Humboldt County, IA – Public Health is reporting a total of 54 active COVID-19 cases in Humboldt County as the total case count reaches 902.

In looking at the COVID-19 numbers for the county from Monday Dec.14 through Sunday Dec. 20, Humboldt County Public Health and the Iowa Department of Public Health have reported a total of 55 new cases over the course of the week. The county’s total case count is now up to 902.

Here is how the total positive cases break down by age:

  • 108 are in the 0-17 age range.
  • 287 are in the 18-40 age range.
  • 270 are in the 41-60 age range.
  • 179 are in the 61-80 age range.
  • 58 are in the 81+ age category.

Additional information provided from the states coronavirus.iowa.gov shows the Humboldt County positivity rate as 14.4 percent over the past 14 days.
