A Wildcat stays local to continue volleyball career

Humboldt, IA – Humboldt High School volleyball’s star setter is going to play collegiate volleyball at Iowa Central Community College.

On Friday, Dec. 4, it was announced the Deni McDaniel is signing a national letter of intent to continue her volleyball career with ICCC in Fort Dodge. During her career as a Wildcat McDaniel was a three year started and helped led the Wildcats to 30 plus wins in each season she played. The team also made the regional finals each year and as a senior she was an instrumental part of the programs first ever state tournament appearance.

Deni McDaniel finished her senior season averaging 9.4 assists and 3.6 digs per set. She also recorded 25 services aces and a serving efficiency of 97.2 percent.
