Goodell tabbed as vice chair of Humboldt County Public Safety Commission

Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt County Public Safety Commission is now operating with a new vice chairman following approval of the board.

During the December meeting of the county’s public safety commission board on Dec. 7 they were scheduled to elect a new vice chairman. The position was previously held by John Sleiter who stepped down from the board a few months before.

Board member Dan Scholl made the motion to appoint Joel Goodell as the new vice chair. Goodell was appointed as the replacement of Sleiter on the Public Safety Commission when he stepped down from the board.

The motion to accept Goodell as the vice chairman of the Public Safety Commission was approved unanimously.
