Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt County Public Safety Commission is motioning to move office spaces around in preparation of the incoming Humboldt Police Chief.

During the December meeting of the commission, they held discussion on where to put the office of the new Police Chief for the Humboldt Police Department. There was no debate on the fact the office needed to be in the Law Enforcement Center but there was no open space.

The discussions turned to focus on the office space that houses the Director of the 911 Service Board. Sheriff Dean Kruger informed the commission that the individual currently in the position can and is working remotely.

The commission motioned to having the space vacated to make room for the incoming police chief.
