Humboldt, IA – There is one week remaining for the community to join in on bidding for items that are part of the Humota Theater 2020 Fundraiser.
As previously reported by KHBT Humboldt’s downtown movie theater is currently hosting an online auction to help raise funds during these difficult time. With the film industry essential shutdown new content is not being produced which puts a strain on the industry as a whole. As non-profit the Humota relies on donations to continue to operate.
The online auction began last Monday on Nov. 30 with the intent of raising $7,500 for the theater. There is 100 hundred items currently available to bid on including appear, gift certificates to local business and home décor.
