Humboldt, IA – Humboldt High School girls wrestling dominates during their Friday night of action.
On Friday, Dec. 4, Humboldt girls wrestling took part in their portion of the Joe Fitch Invitational at Humboldt High School. Of their 16 matches wrestled eleven resulted in Humboldt wins.
Per Track Wrestling Some of the Wildcats enjoying success with two wins on the night include 138 wrestlers Kailee Dettman and Deni McDaniel. Maria Elizondo had two wins, one in the 152 class and the other in the 170. Kendal Clark grabbed two wins both in the 17o weight class.
In just their second years as a separate program Humboldt girls wrestling continues to enjoy success as they make another push to the post season and state tournament.
Next up for Humboldt girls wrestling will be some competition on the road at South Central Calhoun on Tuesday, Dec. 8.
