Humboldt, IA – No injuries reported following a two car collision at the intersection of Highway 3 and Taft Street.
Officer Colton Monson of the Humboldt Police Department files the report on the incident. The report says that on Saturday, February 6, Roman Martinez, 39, Sioux City was traveling east on Hwy 3 looking to turn left at the intersection of Taft St. As he turned his red Chevrolet Silverado was struck by a blue Ford Escape driven by David Torkelson, 56 of Humboldt who was traveling west.
The incident resulted to functional damages to both vehicles that could be driven away from the scene. No injuries were reported by Officer Monson at the time of the incident. Martinez was cited for failure to yield upon left turn.
