Humboldt, IA – Humboldt is moving forward with finding a new City Administrator. As previously reported, Travis Goedken will be the new City Administrator of Decorah, IA, and his last day in Humboldt is Sept. 9. Goedken is involved in the process to find a new administrator and he says the City Council will hold a special meeting on Aug. 23 to award a consulting firm to start the process.
The position is not currently open to the public and the next step in the process after the Aug. 23 meeting is for the city to meet with the consulting firm to develop an in-depth position profile and approved by Sept. 7.
