Fort Dodge Police are asking the public for assistance locating a driver that eluded police late on Tuesday night. The incident occurred at approximately 11:30 pm in the 600 block of North 22nd Street when the Fort Dodge Police Department stopped a Maroon Ford Fusion.
As officers approached the vehicle, the driver fled westbound along 7th Avenue north and police pursued the vehicle near the intersection of 21st Avenue North. and North 14th Court.
The Ford Fusion again fled police with the driver eventually stopping at an embankment and fleeing on foot. Officers were unable to locate the driver after searching the area. Fort Dodge Police continues to investigate the incident and encourages anyone with information to contact the Fort Dodge Police Department.
