Fort Dodge, IA -Last week, the Fort Dodge Messenger announced that 2021 Humboldt High School graduate Kendal Clark is the 2021 Fort Dodge Ford Lincoln Toyota Messenger Female Athlete of the Year. Clark was a 5-sport star for the Wildcats and Humboldt Athletic Director Greg Thomas says the award is well deserved.
Thomas says what separates Clark is her drive for excellence in all she does.
Clark has a long list of accomplishments as an athlete at Humboldt High, including winning state in wrestling as a Junior at 170 pounds, helping Wildcats volleyball to their first state tournament last season, placing 2nd and third in the shot put and discus at State and being an all state selection in softball. Clark was also a key figure for the basketball program as well.
Clark will continue her academic and softball career at Des Moines Area Community College.
