Humboldt County passes resolution making County Second Amendment Sanctuary

Humboldt, IA – At Monday’s Humboldt County Board of Supervisors meeting the board approved a resolution declaring Humboldt County to be a second amendment Sanctuary County. Humboldt County Sheriff Dean Kruger has more.

Kruger says that he got between 30-40 calls from citizens expressing their concern and decided to bring the resolution to the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors.

Humboldt County joins 16 other Iowa Counties that have adopted resolutions declaring their county as a Second Amendment Sanctuary, including Kossuth and Hardin.
