Wildcats are 5-0 after homecoming win over Ballard

Humboldt, IA -The Humboldt Wildcats improved to 5-0 on the season for the first time since 2004 after a 40-0 victory over the Ballard Bombers in their homecoming game on Friday night. Quarterback Caden Matson rushed for two touchdowns and passed for one to Will Orness. Tanner McKimmey and Sam Numedahl had rushing touchdowns for the Wildcats. Matson had 213 yards passing, and 108 rushing yards. Orness had 7 receptions for 55 yards and Jacob Heier had 3 receptions for 74 yards.

Next up for the Wildcats is a road matchup at North Polk on Friday.
