Rollover accident in Humboldt County injures California man

Humboldt, IA- A California man was transported to Humboldt County Memorial Hospital after swerving to avoid hitting a deer in Humboldt County. The accident happened on Saturday night at 11:59 pm when a 2006 Toyota BTM driven by Ricardo Salasnunez of San Diego was driving west bound on Highway 3 lost control of the vehicle, attempting to avoid a collision.

The vehicle became airborne for approximately 25 feet before coming to a stop. The Vehicle landed in a ditch and rolled over multiple times before coming to a stop on it’s top 90 feet later. Salasnunez was transported by Renwick Ambulance to HCMH to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
