Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt Wildcats defeated their rival the Algona Bulldogs 35-26 on Friday night to finish the regular season 9-0, their first unbeaten regular season since 1990. Caden Matson threw for 195 yards and 3 touchdowns, Will Orness had 5 catches for 121 yards and a touchdown and Jacob Heier had a receiving touchdown in the win.
It was also Senior Night for the Wildcats and Wildcats Head Coach Derrick Elman says he’s proud of his seniors for what they have accomplished.
Next up for the Wildcats is a home playoff game on Friday night against Hampton-Dumont/CAL at 7.
