Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office hires from within to fill Civil Deputy position

Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office has promoted from within to fill a Civil Deputy position. Chief Deputy Cory Lampe talked at Monday’s Humboldt County Board of Supervisors meeting about the opening created by the departure of Ashley Hefty last month.

Jean Moss is retiring as Civil Deputy after 11 years of service and her last day is estimated for November 30. The Board of Supervisors accepted Hefty’s resignation and approved Jennifer Wyckoff’s appointment unanimously.
