Humboldt, IA – Humboldt High School Senior football player Ben Kuehnast will play in tomorrow’s 6th annual River Battle Bowl in Council Bluffs , that starts at 2 pm at Gale Wickersham Stadium. The game features the top 50 players in Iowa versus the top 50 players in Nebraska. Kuehnast says he’s excited to play in the bowl game.
The honor is well deserved for Kuehnast, as the senior offensive lineman earned 1st Team All-State honors, 3A District 2 Lineman of the year, and All District to help lead the Wildcats to an 11-1 record and a trip to the State Semifinals at the UNI Dome.
