Algona, IA – The Humboldt Wildcats boys basketball team bounced back in a big way on Tuesday night defeating rival Algona 67-49. Caden Matson had 18 points and Josh Thurm had 17. It was a close battle throughout but Humboldt started to pull away in the 2nd half, here is a big shot at the end of the 3rd quarter that gave the Wildcats a commanding lead.
Humboldt improves to 13-1 overall and 8-1 in the North Central Conference. The Wildcats next host St Edmond on Friday.
