Fort Dodge, IA –Two people were injured after a building collapsed in Fort Dodge on Wednesday Morning. The incident occurred shortly before 11:15 am on Wednesday when a building just north of Burger King and just south of the old Younkers building collapsed. Fort Dodge police were first to arrive on scene and the Fort Dodge Fire Department arrived shortly after with a Fire truck and an ambulance, Fort Dodge Fire Department Lieutenant Nathan Conrad has more about what happened.
Conrad says two people were transported to Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge to be treated for what appears to be minor injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
