Dakota City, IA -At Monday’s Humboldt County Board of Supervisor’s meeting, there was a discussion about Humboldt County applying for funding at the federal level to help fund Humboldt County Conservation projects. Board of Supervisors Chairman Bruce Reimers explains how this came about.
Humboldt County Conservation Director Todd Lee was present at the meeting and told the Board of Supervisors the projects that he hopes to get additional funding for includes the Reasner Dam Project, the Gotch Trail Paving Project and a bike trail that connects to Webster County. Reimers says the requests for funding will be received and evaluated in a couple of weeks.
