Humboldt -The Humboldt Wildcats Boys wrestling team won the Class 2A Sectional 1 Championship to advance automatically to the Regional Duals on Tuesday. The top two finishers in each weight class moved on to Districts and Humboldt at 8 athletes advance. The following won sectional championships on Saturday. Dusty Pate, Jayden Gargano, and Joe Weydert. The following wrestlers placed 2nd: Cyler Cirks, Owen Mayall, DJ Muir, Ty Gargano and Jace Goodell.
Next up for Humboldt is the Regional Duals at Sargeant Bluffs-Luton on Tuesday.
