Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt Wildcats Girls’ Soccer team fell in a heartbreaker on the road against the Garner-Hayfield-Ventura Cardinals 2-1 in overtime. The game was tied at 1 heading into overtime and the Cardinals edged the Wildcats 1-0 in a shootout. Ava McIntire (So.) had the lone goal for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats are back in action today as they host the Storm Lake Tornadoes in Humboldt at 4:30 p.m.
