Wildcats boys and girls soccer earn split with with IF-A

Iowa Falls, IA – the Humboldt Wildcats girls and boys soccer teams split a North Central Conference double header with Iowa Falls Alden on Thursday night, with the girls falling short 2-0 and then boys winning 2-0. 

In the girls game, Abby Ites scored from long range for her 7th goal in the season for Cadets to make it 1-0 with 15:41 to go, and Adessa Gillespie added the final goal with 17:46 to go in the 2nd half.

Next up the Wildcats face Garner-Hayfield-Ventura on Monday. 

On the boys side, Humboldt and Iowa Falls Alden were scoreless after 1 half, but then Humboldt took the lead in the 2nd half after an Isaiah Kahl goal, his 7th of the season to make it 1-0. Christian Ramirez added another after this play.

 Noah Skow had the shutout for the Wildcats in the goal. Humboldt is now 4-0 on the season and faces Garner-Hayfield-Ventura on Monday.
