Adel, IA – The First Round of the 2022 Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union (IGHSAU) 3A Girls’ Golf State Tournament took place yesterday morning at the River Valley Golf Course in Adel, Iowa.
After Day 1, Humboldt Wildcat Nora Carlson (Sr.) is T-4th in the individual scoring with an 80. The leaders after Round 1 individually are Gilbert’s Eden Lohrbach (So.) and Newton’s Rylee Heryford (Sr.), both in a two-way tie after each of them posted a 75 in the first 18 holes. The Humboldt Girls’ Golf team currently sits at 7th place in the combined team scoring with a combined score of 409 strokes. Gilbert currently paces the field at 348 strokes.
The second and final round of golf is scheduled for tee-off tomorrow morning at 8:30 a.m.
