Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt Wildcats’ athletic teams are back in action today after a quite start to the week.

The Humboldt Wildcats Girls’ Golf team will be at Majestic Hills Golf Course in Denison, Iowa this morning for their regional meet. The meet has a tee-off time for 9:30 a.m.

The Wildcats’ Girls’ Soccer team will host the Hampton-Dumont-CAL Bulldogs at the Humboldt High School Soccer Field today at 5:00 p.m. in a Regional match. The girls’ team checks into game No. 1 of the postseason at a mark of 10-7 (7-5 NCC), dropping the final two games of the season and not finding the back of the net in the last 160 minutes of play. An encouraging sign for the Wildcats coming into regional play is that the Wildcats did win both regular season matchups over the Bulldogs.

KHBT will carry the girls’ soccer game live on the air.
