Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt Wildcats’ athletic teams start off another week of sports action on Monday, May 23.
The Humboldt Wildcats Boys’ Soccer team starts their postseason action this afternoon in the Class 2A-Substate 2 Second Round against the Webster City Lynx from the Humboldt High School Soccer Field. The Wildcats come into the match with a perfect record of 15-0 (12-0 NCC), clinching an outright title in the North Central Conference. The match will begin at 5:00 p.m. KHBT will carry the game live over the air.
The Wildcats’ softball team starts their 2022 season this evening from the Humboldt High School Softball Field as they host Southeast Valley. The game starts at 7:30 p.m.
An important reminder about ticketing for the Boys’ Soccer game:
In order to attend Iowa High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) postseason games, you must purchase a ticket. All tickets must be purchased through the IHSAA.

A ticket will need to be purchased in order to attend this afternoon’s Humboldt Wildcats Boys’ Soccer game at 5:00 p.m. against the Webster City Lynx at the Humboldt High School Soccer Field. Those without tickets will be denied entry to the game.
