Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt Wildcats athletic teams have a busy day to wrap up the week before Memorial Day weekend.
The 2022 Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union (IGHSAU) 3A Girls’ Golf State Meet is in the second and final day of competition with the match teeing off this morning at 8:30 a.m.
This evening, the Humboldt Wildcats softball team will return to the diamond with their 1-0 record as the host the Newell-Fonda Mustangs with a 2-1 mark. First pitch is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. from the Humboldt High School Softball Field. KHBT will carry the live broadcast of the game from Humboldt.
The Wildcats’ baseball team will have a third try to complete their first game of the 2022 season as they host the Webster City Lynx from the Humboldt High School Baseball Field. The Lynx come to Humboldt with a record of 3-3. First pitch is slated for 7:30 p.m.
