Humboldt Volleyball falls to CGD in four sets

Clarion, IA – The Humboldt Volleyball team started out strong, but could not sustain their success in the beginning of the match as they fell to the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Cowgirls in four sets Tuesday night.

The Cats started the evening off strong, winning the first set 25-13 over the Cowgirls. The second set started off with a surge from the Cowgirls, and the Wildcats seemed to play from behind from the second set on.  The second, third and fourth sets, although contested within range by Humboldt went to the win column for the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Cowgirls. The scores for the match were 25-13, 22-25, . With the loss, Humboldt Falls to 6-4 (1-1 NCC). The Cats will be back in action next Tuesday at home against the Clear Lake Lions.
