Humboldt, IA – The 2022 IHSAA postseason matchups for football were released Saturday morning, for Class 3A, 4A and 5A.
Humboldt was placed in Pod C, which composes of Hampton-Dumont-CAL (6-3) at Humboldt (8-1) and Benton Community (6-3) at Independence (9-1). With the Cats the highest ranked team of the group at No. 3 in the RPI poll, Humboldt has homefield advantage through the entirety of Pod C play, with the pod winner advancing to the UNI Dome. Both first round games kickoff at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
