Humboldt, IA – The new Mental Health & Wellness Center at Humboldt County Memorial Hospital held an open house on Friday to showcase the new area. HCMH CEO Michelle Sleiter says she was pleased with the finished product.
The new center includes a play therapy room, family and group counseling room, a telehealth room that can dual as a group therapy room, and an area for a nurse practitioner. There are four therapists who are currently working at the facility. Jessica Lantz, Nolan Vitzthum, Erin Fiala, Laurie Dobrinich, Telehealth.
The project’s finished cost was $1.7 million and was completed by the architectural firm Atura. The center will begin seeing patients today, April 17.
