Fort Dodge, IA – The Humboldt Boys Soccer team won their non-conference match at Dodger Stadium 3-0 over the Dodgers Monday night in Fort Dodge.
The Wildcats got the scoring started with 15 minutes to go in the first half with a goal scored by Christhian Ramirez. Humboldt took their 1-0 lead into the locker room. The second half saw more of the same from Humboldt, as the Wildcats would again have Ramirez find the back of the net for the 2-0 lead. Humboldt would tack on one more goal with Trever Beach in the final stages of the match to solidify the victory. The win marked the fifth consecutive shutout for the Wildcats.
With the win, Humboldt improves to 7-0 overall (5-0 NCC) and will next face Webster City on the road on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
