Fort Dodge, IA – The Humboldt Girls Soccer team won their non-conference match at Dodger Stadium 1-0 over the Dodgers Monday night in Fort Dodge.
The Wildcats had many opportunities in the contest, but Dodger goalkeeper Camden Doster would keep the Wildcats at bay from scoring in the first half. The second half would see the teams continue to battle in a scoreless tie, before Elsie Hubbell would break the seal with 17:58 remaining in the second half to give Humboldt a 1-0 lead and the Cats would hang on for the victory.
With the win, Humboldt improves to 5-3 overall (2-2 NCC) and will next face Webster City at home on Thursday at 5:00 p.m.
