With farmers already planting this spring, the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Office is highlighting Farmer Safety out in the fields this spring. Angie Rieck-Hinz, a field agronomist with the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach office, says that using safe practices this spring will ensure a good planting season.
Rieck-Hinz gives some tips to ensure Farmer’s can practice safe habits this spring.
Being in the fields brings forth a few more safety issues.
Rieck-Hinz also reminds drivers to be aware with having to share the roads with farm vehicles and to share the road with farm vehicles this spring.
