Humboldt, IA – Transition Day for elementary students heading to middle school in Humboldt will have a different look this year, with not just one day for students. Humboldt Middle School Principal Cassie Smith explains.
Smith says Transition Day is a tool that helps incoming students adjust.
Twin Rivers will have 5th graders on May 10 and 17, eating lunch, a tour, and a period for Q and A. St. Mary’s 6th graders will come to Humboldt Middle School on May 10. The students will have a session of Q and A, lunch block and a tour. Transition Day for current middle schoolers who are incoming students to Humboldt High School took place at the end of March.
