Humboldt, IA – Talks of a dog park within in Humboldt was a focal point of the City Council meeting in Humboldt Monday night.
A group of 16 individuals comprise of a committee led by husband and wife John and Jenny Wyckoff of Humboldt. Jenny Wyckoff says the idea came from a question on a Facebook group of residents from Humboldt and Dakota City.
The City of Humboldt was receptive to the idea and will be meeting with the committee next week on the feasibility of the park. The location of the proposed park and where it could possibly end up are currently unknown at this stage in the process.
