Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt County Law Enforcement Center is reporting that there will be a water shutdown in effect in various areas of the south part of Humboldt today.
The City of Humboldt says the shutdown is due to a replacement of two fire hydrants. The area affected is from 2nd St. S. through 5th St. S and from 1st Ave. S to 4th Ave. S. The city says everyone effected received a door hanger on their doors to forewarn them about the replacements and that everyone’s service should be restored by the end of business today.
