Humboldt, IA – Humboldt County Deputy Sheriff Kenneth Vorland has announced that he will be retiring in September.
The news was released at the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors session Monday morning. Sheriff Dean Kruger remarked on the career of Deputy Sheriff Vorland.
Sheriff Kruger says he leaves big shoes to fill in the office.
Vorland had spent 24 years with the Humboldt County Sheriff’s office. His last day is set for Sept. 30.
