Humboldt Co., IA – Emergency crews responded to a rollover accident Monday morning in rural Humboldt County. The single-vehicle rollover of a maroon Chevy Silverado occurred in the area of 2550 250th St. at approximately 9:05 a.m.
Humboldt County Sheriff Dean Kruger gave a statement after their initial investigation stating that two individuals, whose names were not provided, were heading westbound on on 250th St. approaching Penn Ave. and the driver stated that he lost control of the vehicle for an unknown reason and went down into the south ditch, rolling twice.
The two individuals, the driver and passenger, sustained non-life threatening injuries and were taken by ambulance to HCMH for further observation. The bean field where the overturned vehicle landed did suffer damage and the property owners are in the process of being notified.
Assisting on scene was the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, Humboldt EMS, Humboldt Fire Department, and Jergen’s Auto Body and Alignment to tow the vehicle back to Humboldt.
