Eagle Grove, IA – A shooting in Eagle Grove Saturday left one person dead.
According to Eagle Grove police, The shooting took place in the early morning hours on Saturday. At approximately 2:35 a.m., the Eagle Grove Police Department received a 911 call in reference to a shooting incident which occurred on the 100 block of South Lucas Ave. The shooting incident resulted in the death of one male individual, whose name has not been released at this time. Eagle Grove Police say there is no threat to the public.
The Eagle Grove Police Department was assisted by the Wright County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa State Patrol, Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), Eagle Grove Ambulance Service and Quick Response Vehicle.
