Humboldt, IA – The show must go on. That’s exactly what happened at Sunday’s Graduation at Humboldt High School after a power outage in parts of Humboldt threatened to derail the graduation for Humboldt High School’s Class of 2024.

The power was restored to the high school at 1:15 p.m. for the scheduled 2:00 p.m. graduation.

That is Humboldt high school principal Travis Sprague who says Sunday’s graduation was an honor for the seniors who walked across the stage.

After the commencement ceremony, the class of 2024 held a balloon release outside in honor of fallen classmate Brady Ahlstrom, who had passed away several years ago.
