Humboldt, IA – Humboldt baseball used a six-run third inning to defeat Webster City 10-0 in five innings.
Riley Sorensen led Humboldt with 4 RBI and two doubles and Isaiah Busick went the distance with five innings of shutout baseball, allowing three hits while walking one with seven strikeouts.
With the win, Humboldt is 7-2 (3-1 NCC) and host Forest City in non-conference play Tuesday.
