Humboldt Volleyball 3-1 in home tournament

Humboldt, IA – Humboldt Volleyball held their home tournament Saturday, going 3-1 in the four matches they would play.

Kuemper Catholic would have the best performance of the tournament with a 4-0 mark, followed by Humboldt at 3-1, South Hardin at 2-2, South Central Calhoun at 1-3, and Fort Dodge at 0-4.

For the Wildcats, Humboldt defeated South Central Calhoun (21-18, 23-21), Fort Dodge (21-13, 21-15), and South Hardin (22-20, 21-18) all in two sets each. Their lone loss was to Kuemper Catholic (21-15, 21-19) in two sets.

Kuemper Catholic recorded wins over Fort Dodge (21-6, 21-8), South Hardin (21-16, 21-19), South Central Calhoun (21-15, 21-14) and Humboldt all in two sets.

South Hardin’s wins would come against Fort Dodge (21-18, 21-9) and South Central Calhoun (21-20, 21-15).

The Humboldt Wildcats sit at 3-4 overall as they head into their first NCC matchup of the year on Thursday as they host Clear Lake.
