Anderson, IN – A private plane that took off from Fort Dodge Regional Airport Friday morning has crashed in Anderson, Indiana. Law enforcement in Anderson say the crash left no survivors among the four on board.
The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed that a single-engine Piper PA-46 crashed short of the runway at Anderson Municipal Airport-Darlington Field at approximately 10 a.m. EDT Friday.
The Fort Dodge Regional Airport acknowledged the crash through a press release today and say that although the plane is not based out of Fort Dodge, the flight plan indicated it took off at 6:48 a.m. Friday in Fort Dodge.
